Franklin , Tennessee - The City of Franklin spent 36 million Dollar$ to ensure their police officers are pampered in the lap of luxury and no expense was spared to give their K-9 members air conditioned comfort. After all , they too are worth it.
Meanwhile , the Sheriff's Department is presently waiting on funding for air conditioning units to keep their K-9 friends cool in the summer's heat. (it's rumored the units will arrive in time for the winter season)
While Franklin Police spend 50,000 dollar$ annually for bullets , the Sheriff's Department can not afford purchasing a cup of coffee.
There's no question that Franklin Police are now the most pampered police in the nation. And why not for Christ's sake? After writing thousands of illegal tickets under a broiling hot summer's sun , being soaking wet during the flood season , freezing in the dead of winter on our cold and deserted snow bound roads while shoveling their asses in the faces of Franklin's little people , they are surely deserving of something more than some measly little ole medal
