There's a Sargent with lots of pretty "Hash Marks" on his sleeves , BUTT , he has no "Honor".
While he was in the process of doing me wrong , he made the comment , "Mr. Horne , you are a man without Honor."
You know , it's not how he said the words , BUTT what he mixed in with the words that caught my attention. You know , a person says something and there's an off key or maybe an off octave vibration to the voice that tells you there's more in those words than just the words. This Sargent had an over tone in his voice when he spoke those words that was'nt present while he had spoken with clear speech earlier before his altercation against me.
Imagine if you can , his very Soul crying out from the depths of despair from so far away down below that he just can not hear because he does'nt even know what "Honor" is. I have no idea what it feels like to have a Soul wanting something that can never be gotten. Imagine having your own Soul cry out for something that just is'nt there , I do not know the feeling people , I really don't. Butt that Sargent does have a very real problem indeed.
The only way I can even begin to see how it must feel is "The Book of Eli" movie where Gary Oldham uses up every resource he has , only to acquire a book he can not read. That's the best guess I have.
I mean think about it people. How would you feel upon hearing your own Soul cry out from the depths of despair far down below you while having no idea of how to help your Soul or even to help your own self. This Sargent has it all , he's got everything , BUTT , he just does'nt care enough because he just does'nt get it. He has absolutely no understanding what he's even talking about in regards to the subject of "Honor." Let's think about it some more here shall we? This man will go to his grave without "Honor" and he personally won't realize it until after he's dead and his Soul is busily occupied with answering for his crimes against the law , his badge and of course , humanity
And , "NO" , I'm not giving you the Sargent's name. All thru history , men without "Honor" have had their names forgotten and that's probably the best for this guy. However , here's a clue - "I'll give you a Ticonderoga hat if I can find it." Those are his words and "No" , he still has not given me that hat and that was over 2 years ago.
BUTT he sure can talk the talk can't he?
