Just What Is The Problem

Franklin , Tennessee - Ajax here , the problem with Franklin Police is that they have been under JJ's ruling thumb for so long , they don't know what to do or even how to act. Yes , even though he's been kicked out of office , his ass still rules the roost. How did this happen ?

Several years ago , back in the days when Tim Taylor was just a simple mailman , Jay Johnson was hired. In time , JJ realized he could govern any and all of Franklin government with an iron fist. But , he just could not get past the police Chief @ the time. Making threats against his job didn't work , so JJ did the next best thing: squeeze the department's dollar $upply. Yes , Good Ole boy JJ cut off the Police Department , by giving them basic gas money and nothing more and in quick time , the police cars were running without maintenance. Some car doors would not close while other cars had racing slicks ( I'm not kidding here ) and headlights were also broken. To make up for personnel shortages , some officers pulled double duty by working the street one shift and go directly into dispatch for the next shift , with no going home in between.
Well , that didn't work either. So , into the spotlight , comes Tim Taylor , with his brilliant idea of charging the Chief with theft of a TV , from the property room. The TV was of course , in his department car , being used for DARE programs in schools. What made this a theft incident was the simple fact , the Chief did not have a piece of paper , stating it was OK to have it in his possession. Meanwhile , other officers had taken guns from the same property room along with a piece of paper and so , no charges were filed on behalf of Jay Johnson's request. How 'bout that folks ? And so , with the Chief gone and out of the way , for his thievery of property room property , Tim Taylor was promoted to CID , which got him off the street and out of everyone's way , while JJ took over the department and , well , the rest is history.
JJ has used " His " Franklin Police Department to harass people he didn't like or just to give them something to do. Jerry wasn't kidding when he stated JJ ran KA out of town. And now JJ wants Jerry to go also.
Meanwhile , I've had the opportunity to talk with Detective Black and I have learned for myself , Jerry was telling the truth about those , " little Black lies ". The reason Detective Black is telling lies is only for one reason and one reason only and that's to cover up something. What ? I don't know , but I've got lots of stuff here to look through. And yes , KA has been recently hit upon ( again ) by JJ's bunch. Have you noticed his blog has steered a different course lately ?
The people of Franklin have a serious problem and either they don't know or they don't want to know. Some people prefer to feel safe by sticking their heads in the sand where it's dark and warm.
Speaking only for myself , I'm a religious kind of guy. There's been more than one incident in my life , I feel that God was looking over my shoulder which explains why I'm still around these days. Telling a lie merely creates the need to tell more lies to cover up the first lie. Sooner or later , this mental handicap is going to catch up with Detective Black and I'm confident that when it does , he will be a very , very unhappy camper. Whether it be here on earth or in the hereafter , Black will answer for his lies.
